We are in the process of evaluating client server application development tools. What are the advantages / disadvantages of using Visual Basic instead of NewEra or Delphi for developing a front end to an Informix Database in the following areas: 1. Ease of use 2. Functionality 3. Effectiveness 4. Robustness 5. Security Also, is any significant differences between Visual Basic 4.0 and Visual Basic 5.0 for this purpose? Paul Jones
