Try EXECUTE PROCEDURE sqlj.install_jar ('file:\\program\\informix\\jars\\ninesync.jar', 'ninesync_jar', 0); I removed the reference to E: (under Windows, I have seen this cause problems, at least in one case), changed the double quotes to single quotes, added sqlj. before the install_jar. The above syntax works for me under similar (I hope) setup (Windows XP, IDS 10.00.TC3). If this does not work for you, then perhaps there is an overall setup problem (such as classpaths in the onconfig, informix setup) or perhaps a permissions problem... The 9498: Incorrect path to JAR file specified: (java.io.FileNotFoundException: \\tmp\\xxx error tends to occur when there is no c:\\tmp directory.
