Since 1993 I have used TZ86, which is a 6.5 Gb DLT, and now I am also using TZ877, which is a 20 Gb (10 Gb uncompressed) DLT with 7 tapes in a stack. On other systems, I am using exabyte for my INFORMIX backup, and in the beginning I didnt like the DLT. BUT....after using it, I must say that it is much faster, holds more data, and you dont get any read-errors. My database size is 35 Gb in total.
