Try this:
ln -s $INFORMIXDIR/lib/libbsa.a /usr/lib/ibsad001.a
(extension .a for AIX, .so for Solaris and .sl for HP-UX)
libbsa.sl (XBSA libraries) comes along with IDS 7.3,
else you have to buy a third-part product: Legato, Omniback,...
