It's incredible - FOLLOW UP

No I haven't developed in any other 4GL & perhaps it was wrong of me to single INFORMIX out. I just think that people seem to expect different things from application & dev' software. If application software doesn't work companies get sued, if dev' software doesn't work then it's just the best of a bad bunch. I am very pleased to get the mail from Malcolm Weallans about the INFUSE user group & I certainly will join. If INFORMIX is the best of the bunch then let's help to make it better. I am buzy digging through old source to illustrate the outer join problem & I will endeavour to post an example soon. Sorry if I offended anyone with the original post - i am a rookie USENET so no more mud slinging. Someone said they had mailed the original poster - I'm afraid he didn't mail me. I have used INFORMIX for 5 years & am currently involved in a large project for the licenced trade using INFORMIX & C. The Outer Join bug is certainly there & shows up during complex joins.
