Remote database problem

Hi Informixers, I am having problems changing from a local OnLine database ("local") to a remote database ("foreign@remote") from within 4GL RDS, but the same program when run from DBACCESS works perfectly without error. Here is the sql script: database local;close database; database foreign@remote; close database; <--- dies here with -408 error database local;close database; I take the above script, enclose it in MAIN and END MAIN, remove the semicolons, & compile it with fglpc. When fglgo'ed, it dies on the line shown with -408 - Invalid message type received from the sqlexec process. What am I doing wrong? Platform: SCO Unix 3.2.4.2 SCO TCP/IP 1.2.1o Engine: Online 5.01.UD2 4GL: RDS 4.11.UC1 Network: IStar TCPIP 5.01.UD3 Any help that you can provide will be most appreciated.
