Don't try to use a tape drive with the dbimport or dbexport utilities found in either the 7.10 or 7.12 release of Informix OnLine for Windows NT. These versions of the engine will only recognize the tape device for archives and logical logs. The 7.20 release (due out soon) is supposed to fix this problem. -- Regards, Walter S.
