Transaction Logging and SQL speed

Two questions: A) Does anyone have any real preformance problems using Informix Online 5.0 with transaction logging turned on? We use hardware mirroring and turned off transaction logging. We backup the database daily. I'm wondering if this was the right choice? B) What are some possible hardware configurations using HP/UX and Informix Online that people use for data recovery and high availablilty of data? Do you use mirroring, SwitchOver, transaction logging, etc.? Thanks in Advance, Michael Mstowski msm@spaceworks.com
