Integrity in databases

I am a database administrator in Informix Server. Recently, our auditor asks how we ensure the integrity of information stored in databases ? This question is very general. What is your opinions? Thanks in advance Roger
That means how you make sure your data is correct and no mess up, no missing, no mistake, no wrong data. You should define necessary constraints (primary key, range, foreign key, ..) also right application transaction design.... to help you ...... Business rule, security protection ..... never be done .....
