Online 5.x to 7.x upgrade

Hi, Currently we are using Informix On-line 5.01 and planning to upgrade to On-line 7.x: - Does anyone have good or bad experience on conversion process. - If you are using 3rd vendor product (written in v4.10 4GL over v5.01 On-line), can we just upgrade engine to 7.x without recompiling all the 4GLs? - Can we use same runner in On-line 7.x. - Any Backup utility (at database level) in engine 7.x. - Is worth to convert to On-line 6.x first, then 7.x at later time.
