Update Stats Question

Informix Dynamic Server Version 7.31.UD on AIX 5.2 Does anyone know what would be the net effect of running an 'update stats high' and an 'update stats low' simultaneously against the same data base (in 2 sessions)? Any advice will be much appreciated. Regards, Eileen Littler

hmm, firstly will that be possible? I guess the update statistics does a exclusive lock on some tables during updating the statistics, so I see it may not be a good idea. btw, what is the purpose behind doing this?
