Go to the Informix's Web site: http://www.informix.com/trybuy/rom/market.htm Fernando Collalti From the Site: Informix invites you to download new database management software that significantly enhances usability of INFORMIX-OnLine servers on Unix and Windows NT. Running on either Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0, these tools include: Database Explorer: A Windows Explorer-like application that lets you browse databases and the objects in the database. Double-clicking on an object launches the appropriate editor. For example, double-clicking on the customer table launches the Table Editor and loads information about the customer table. SQL Editor: The SQL Editor enables the user to execute any Informix SQL statement or statement scripts. Table Editor: The Table Editor allows the user to create and edit relational database tables. This editor supports indexes, foreign keys, and constraints. View Editor: The View Editor enables the user to modify an existing view and create new views using SQL. A template is provided for new view objects. Stored Procedure Editor: The Stored Procedure Editor enables the user to modify an existing stored procedure and create new stored procedures using SQL. A template is provided for new stored procedure objects. Trigger Editor: The Trigger Editor enables the user to modify an existing trigger and create new triggers using SQL. A template is provided for new trigger objects. Informix has been shipping the first three tools (Database Explorer, SQL Editor, and Table Editor) as part of the INFORMIX-Enterprise Command Center (IECC) with OnLine Workgroup Server and OnLine Dynamic Server on Windows NT. Now with this release, these tools and more are available as a standalone product. ROM 2.1 runs against any ODS or OWS server, version 7.1 through 7.23, UNIX or Windows NT (not for use with versions prior to 7.1; not for use with XPS or IUS).
