If you're converting dates with 4 digit years, there are no problems with any version of the functions. If you're converting 2-digit years, then you should obtain a DBCENTURY-aware version of ESQL/C as the older versions will do as they are documented to do and add 1900 to the 2-digit year, even when the current year is 2000 or later. The advantages of using the ESQL/C functions are: * You don't have to write them * They produce the correct answer -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix v0.60 -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h>
