Hi, What are the parameters or other factors to be considered/set when deleting large no of rows? I can not use drop and recreate as an other option. Thanks in advance. if this is a heavily accessed table, and you have indexes on it, you should drop and recreate the indexes on a fairly regular basis, depending on how much inserts/deletes/updates happen on the table. The more modifications you do to the table, the more frequent you should recreate your indexes. Another option would be to cluster the indexes each time you recreate them as this will essentially re-write the table to fill up all the unused space from deletions within the tablespace.
