question on Informix query execution...
Posted in 2007
Topics: General Discussion
Hi gurus,
Do you know a way to have the query "stop-on-error" instead of indicating
error but continuing on to the next line, for example:
cat test.sql
rename table abc to xyz; -- if fails, don't continue
drop synonym blahblah; -- if fails, don't continuecreate synonym ...;
Thanks in advance.

If you are using dbaccess you can set:
export DBACCNOIGN=1 # To stop after an error

dbaccess -a gives you that behavior
