Informix Upgrade?

We are about to upgrade a number of large instances running 7.14 to 7.31 these are OLTP systems with 4QL applications talking via encina middleware to large HP-UX 10.20 systems acting as database engines. I am interested in hearing from users out there who have either done such a conversion or who run large high hit OLTP applications against 7.30/7.31 IDs. Problems, gotcha's, our particular concerns are the reliability under load of IDS 7.31 and it's performance. All connections are socket based.
