IDS: 12.10.fc6 OS: Aix 7.1.0 TSM: 7.17 We recently migrated a system from IDS 9.4 and as part of the backup script a 'onsmsync -g 15' is being execute. Previously this would keep 15 generations of the level 0 backups, so in our case 15 days worth of backups. On the new server, the above command seems to be deleting all of the backups both in sysutils and TSM. Wondered if anyone has seen similar results. Wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything before reporting to IBM as a potential bug. Thanks in advance for any help. Peter Logan Database Administrator SpartanNash INC. A quick look suggests this functionality should not have changed. It sounds like a possible bug. Ben.
