Using a cgi program that is written in esql/c, you should be able to do this with any version of informix. The trick is to remember who the program is running as, which would be the uid of the httpd process. This id must have access permission to the database. Granting access to public should take care of this, or if you wish to be more conservative, grant it to the user that httpd runs as. Dave
