Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Our company is, at least for the time being, stuck with using Informix
as a dataserver. We are currently using ESQL/C as a client side API
to the database. Is there something better? I'm playing with the CLI
libraries, and while they seem a little better they aren't great.
This is under Solaris 2.x. I'm not very familiar with most of the
Informix software and packages and so any information would be greatly
appreciated.
