Hi, Environment. Basic Text Search Blade Linux, IDS 11.70.FC4, BTS 3.00 Questions. 1. Any idea how much temporary sbspace is required to built a BTS index on a varchar(70) column with 5 million rows ? - I have allocated 4GB of temporary sbspace and still not enough. 2. Any idea how long the index build will take ? - It has been running for 1 hour and still running. Building the same index on Excalibur Text Blade with the same onconfig only took 20 mins. Thanks. -- Alex Kwan

What other columns are there in this table?.. What is the row size?.. Hardware configuration?
