I just learned something last night that you all probably know already, but just in case. You all know not to kill -9 sqlturbos, right? I was testing an OnLine archive crontab script using "tbtape -s". Once I got the archive going I killed the "tbtape" (I planned to let cron run it later). Naughty! Naughty! Informix went into ABORT mode (critical section) and OLE died. Ouch! How can an archive have a "critical section"? Guess I should use "tbmode -z".
