That's one of the strong features of IDS 10. And it have a lot of new ones. It is really worth the upgrade if one is brave enough ;) I think ER could be implemented (in 9.4) to distribute data from a primary to a secondary, that migth be of use in a situation like you had... but it migth have troubles.
