RSS - Hangs on changing RSS to standard

Informix 11.50FC7W1 AIX 6.1 I am testing scenarios with RSS. I tested setting up RSS, failing over, going back to the original setup and running the test a second time. During the second test changing the RSS to "standard" the instance hangs. I have a case open with IBM but no response yet. SERVER 1 (Original Primary) SERVER 2 (ORIGINAL RSS) Comments 1 Oninit -v (start instance) 2 Onmode -d add RSS dev_repl2 3 Ontape -s -L 0 4 Ontape -p 5 Onmode -d RSS dev_repl1 Primary and RSS now connected 6 Onmode -ky Shutdown primary to simulate DR event 7 Onmode -d standard Change RSS to standalone server 8 Hdrmkpri.sh dev_repl1 9 Hdrmksec.sh dev_repl2 10 Oninit -v Server 2 now Primary and Server 1 HDR 11 Onmode -ky Switch back to original 12 Onmode -d standard 13 Hdrmkpri.sh dev_repl2 14 Hdrmksec.sh dev_repl1 15 Oninit -v Server 1 now Primary and Server 2 HDR 16 Onmode -d RSS dev_repl1 Now back to original RSS (Step 5) 17 Onmode -ky 18 Onmode -d standard COMMAND HANGS Has anyone ran into this? Why are you converting the RSS node into a standard node? Once you are a standard node, you're doing your own checkpointing - and once you do that, you're not going to be able to convert back into RSS.
