Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
OK, the chunk number is the high order 12 bits of the page address, so page
0x30fcaa1 is chunk 0x30 (48), page 0xFCAA1 (1034913). Chunk 48 is file:
/dev/informix/db46 of which all but 46 pages are used which makes more sense.
DD that file and see what you get:
dd if=/dev/informix/db46 of=dmp.fil bs=2k skip=1034912 count=3
I never trust my own calculation of which page to skip to, so I back up one page
and dump 3, that's just me.
