In article <4fbb37$hl5@cssun.mathcs.emory.edu>, darrell@gteens.com (Darrell S. What I do knoe is that CHUI 'emulates' GUI. You write your screen as a GUI and NE will then display radio buttons for example on a CHUI as (o) and buttons as <LABEL> etc. It is our experience that a screen designed as CHUI is horrible as a GUI and vice verca. We are therefore designing a kind of 3 tier architecture whereby the business rules are not coded into the supertables or superfields but are in business rule methods called from the before and after handlers. We will then develop two screens to each business function, a CHUI and a GUI. Any comment on this idea? <snip> ---------------------------------------------------------------------- David Paulo, InForm Group Ltd.,PO Box 1444, Wellington, New Zealand.
