RE: ODBC Access to Informix
Posted in 1999
Hallo. How did you install the ODBC driver? I am asking, because the Informix-CLI driver is actually an Intersolv driver. So I don't know if you have this one, or a driver direct from Intersolv. If I install the ODBC driver which comes with Informix (CLI), the only the user who has installed it, is able to use it. But. There is an executable regcopy.exe in the local INFORMIXDIR/bin directory (on the client), which makes the installation available to other users. Hope this helps.
