The REPORT (if it exists) could contain USING clauses which can be a problem: (Rusty details dredged up from memory): PRINT get_record_value() USING "... can be a problem. The CASE (if it exists) shouldn't use the form: CASE a WHEN "ABC" ... END CASE but rather the form: CASE WHEN a = "ABC" ...
