Error only at ids 10: Why?

Hi,
using the following SQL-Command I copy a lot of rows
from a INFOMIX DB (source) into a ACCESS DB (destination)
very fast:
INSERT INTO tab SELECT * FROM [ODBC;DSN=DB;UID=name;PWD=test;].tab WHEREtab_typ = 50;
After changing the IDS Server to version 10 I allways get the
message "Types incompatible". Why?
thanks michael

What was the previous version of IDS? 7.x? 9.x?
What types are in the table?
