IDS 7.30 on NT Performanceproblems

Hi Gurus,
we have a problem with IDS 7.30 TC9 WG Edition on NT.
Hardware : 4 CPUs ( Pentium 450 MHz)
Ram: 2 GByte
OS: NT 4.0 Enterprise Edition ,SP 4
Onconfig:
MULTIPROC 1
CPUVPS 3
SINGLECPU 0
AFF... 0
AFF.. 0
the performance of the server is poor.
onstat -g glo shows: a lot of time is consumedby CPU VPs.
But watching the performance with NT-Performance Monitor,
you can see, the 'oninit' takes only (Maximum) 25 % of Processor-Time,
the idle- Process takes 75 %.
We 've tried to set the priority of oninit to high or realtime without
success.
Most of CPU-Usage is in user mode, not in kernel mode.
Who can help us ???
Who had the same Problem ???
thanks for help

Correct. 4 CPUs 100% on one CPU ....is 25% of the time on all CPUS.

Do onstat -u and check if any sessions are doing lots of reads.
Run that session with SET EXPLAIN ON
Look at sqexplain.out file and add indexes.

Hi Micheal,
We used to have same problems with 7.30 TC9 WG Edition... until we
upgraded to version 7.31 TC2.. that solved our problem. It seems like
there's a bug in version 7.30.TC9 but we are not certain.
Hopes this helps you,
Mark Stuurman
