Using recycled bits, alric blurted out: %hi % %I'm a student. %I have coded my meeting.ec program %and trying to compile that with following instruction. %'esql -o meeting meeting.ec' in my linux machine installed informix-se. % %but, %I've just got following message %[/home/informix//lib/esql/libixos.so: undefined reference to 'crypt' ] %what's wrong? You're trying to compile on the wrong libc architecture. If you want to compile ESQL/C apps on a libc6/glibc machine, you have two options: 1. Install the libc5 libraries and specifically link to them. 2. Use a glibc-based version of Informix's ESQL/C, which can be downloaded from Intraware.
