Informix Tools Header Files????

Does anyone know what these are for? I am referring to $INFORMIXDIR/incl/tools. It's kind of an embarassment, but I spent 2 1/2 hours this morning figuring out that some idiot put the folling in $INCDIRS " -I${INFORMIXDIR}/incl/tools", so when compiling as EC program, I got 3 different Informix functions which were generated by esql with incorrect number of parameters. (_iqnprep(), _iqnexecture() and another). These are prototyped differently in ../tools/sqlhdr.h and ../esql/sqlhdr.h. So does anyone know? -danwright@bigfoot.com
