permission of files created by LOTOFILE

Hello, is there any possibility to configure the permissions of files created by the LOTOFILE function? When I use 'server' for the file destination parameter of LOTOFILE the created files always have the following permissions -rw-rw-rw- 1 root informix When I use 'client' instead the files are created with the permission 600 belonging to the user and it's group who called the SQL statement. It seems that these permissions are independent from the current users environment (like umask). Any help is welcome! Sigrid Braun
