"oncheck -pc" Problem
Posted in 1999
After the our last Informix migration on July we have a problem when we
execute "oncheck -pc DBName" to view the state of one database. Sometimes
gets a fast and a correct response and sometimes (1 over 3) gets a long wait
(10 seconds aprox.) and gives the message "nnnn Memory Fault (coredump)"
(nnnn = numeric value). This seems happen no depending on time to execute,
on database or the system load.
Can someone give me a help? It's a Informix or Unix memory problem? A
copy of our "onconfig" file is at the end of this mail.
We have:
Operating System: Digital UNIX V4.0D (Rev. 878);
Informix version: IDS 7.30.FC7-1 for Alpha Models (Class D)
Digital Unix v.4.0D
Instaled Memory: 512 Mb
Sorry about my english and Thanxs!!
