Informix VB5 RDO 2.0 woes

We are currently developing a product using VB5, Informix on Unix, and communicating using RDO 2.0 through ODBC. We've tried the ODBC drivers that come with Informix's CLI client software v2.5 and the ODBC drivers from Intersolv v3.01. We are writing stored procedures and would like to execute them using an rdoConnection's Execute method. We could then (theoretically) inspect the rowsaffected property on the rdoConnection to determine if the update was successful. However, it seems as if our stored procedures execute properly, yet the rowsaffected property is 0. Has someone been able to successfully accomplish this? Here's an example : conMyConnection.execute "execute procedure SaveStuff('My Stuff')" debug.print conMyConnection.rowsaffected 'Will be zero no matter what Any help would be greatly appreciated!! -------------------==== Posted via Deja News ====----------------------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Post to Usenet
