Are you talking about DBMS_APPLY_ADM, DBMS_CAPTURE_ADM, DBMS_STREAMS, DBMS_CDC_PUBLISH and DBMS_CDC_SUBSCRIBE, DBMS_PROPAGATION_ADM, DBMS_RULE? > I would any day prefer a product which does not claim > to do too many things, than a product which has everything > one can dream of and does a half baked job on all. You don't understand what the technology is. You don't understand what the technologies does. You don't have the capability to duplicate it in Informix ... and yet you criticize it and by extention RAC which also is incapable of being duplicated in Informix. Streams includes conflict resolution by default ... no need to plug into anything. And includes M:M replication not just 2 way or 3 way. I guess in ignorance there is bliss. PS: Streams isn't Oracle's replication product ... that would be Data Guard. Good try though! -- Daniel A.
