Your keyboard may not have an F11. At the same time there is space reserved for up to 36 function keys I believe. Figure out what CTRL-F1 does (or shift-F1 or whatnot) you can do this by: cat | od -cx </dev/tty CTRL-F1 CTRL-D (In my case I get: 0000000 1b70 0a00 033 p \\n 0000003 which translates to ESC-p-NEWLINE) edit termcap and describe F11 as that sequence. From now on whenever you hit that sequence Informix will think your hitting F11. Be warned - Informix Function keys within the termcap are offset by one from the same keys to unix. So k1 in Informix termcap is F1 on the keyboard while k0 is F1 to unix. (I may even have this backwards). cheers j. _____________________________________________________________________________ Jack Parker - Hewlett Packard, DMD/IS Boise, Idaho, USA jparker@hpbs3645.boi.hp.com _____________________________________________________________________________ Lysdexics Untie! _____________________________________________________________________________ Any opinions expressed herein are my own and not those of my employers. _____________________________________________________________________________
