IDS with CommVault / ISM future

We have been using onbar with ISM for the past decade and have developed our backup/restore strategy using that combination. It has served us well to date, never missing a restore when required. Recently, our organisation purchased an enterprise edition of CommVault to facilitate backups and we would like for IDS backups to hook into this new storage manager as the future of ISM seems somewhat uncertain (rumoured to be discontinued). Does anyone have any prior experience using CommVault as the xbsa agent for onbar? Does it support IDS 10/Cheetah ? Pros / Cons ... Any comments appreciated.
