His applications suck so bad they had to buy new ones, but can you imagine how humiliating that must be for PeopleSoft people to have to lower themselves to Oracle. It is probably a worse reaction than IBM buying Informix, everyone knew how fucked up Informix was when they got bought. IBM took a nowhere company that was disappearing anyway, and salvaged some of it. Oracle will take a really great company and make it disappear--now THAT has got to be something really depressing. Especially the way Oracle sells software, whew! it's gonna get nasty out there. :0) sniff!
