Db_locale / SQL_INFX_ATTR_LOCALIZE_DECIMALS error
Posted in 2009
Hi, I have a .NET application that works successfully except on one particular box. I get the message "Database locale information mismatch" when trying to connect to the Informix 10 database. The server db_locale is en_US.819, the db_locale set in SETNET32 is en_US.819, the client_locale is the same. The same setnet settings and the same connection string work just fine on another Windows box, both boxes are Server 2003, both have Informix CSDK 3.5 installed. If I add db_locale=en_US.819 to the connect string I get a different error, SQL_INFX_ATTR_LOCALIZE_DECIMALS - I've put the stack trace below. Any ideas where to start looking for why this works on one machine and not another please ?
