None - the C++ library is created using the Sun C++ compiler, and that is not link-compatible with G++. This is a known problem; it is also an issue on Linux platforms when the G++ compiler is upgraded (so G++ 4.x is not compatible with G++ 3.x, for example). The problem is that different C++ compilers have different conventions for class layout and exception handling and such things. It isn't really CSDK's fault - it is in the C++ systems. > I'm using; > - SunOS 5.9 (Sparc) > - ClientSDK 2.90.UC4 (FC4 is also avialable) > - gcc version 3.3.2 > > Compiling the .cpp sources is succesful on SunOS, but linking fails with > errors like: > > ITErrorManager::AddCallback(ITCallbackResult (*)(ITErrorManager const&, > void*, long), void*)tabLists.o > __1cDstdObasic_ifstream4Ccn0ALchar_traits4Cc___2t6Mpkcil_v_ > /opt/informix/CSDK.2.90.UC4/lib/c++/libifc++.so [...] -- Jonathan Leffler #include <disclaimer.h> Email: jleffler@earthlink.net, jleffler@us.ibm.com Guardian of DBD::Informix v2005.02 -- http://dbi.perl.org/
