Re: illegal procedure entry

This is probably because after installing the SPs the programmer (or the
software vendor) removed the source (delete from sysprocbody where datakey = "T"
and procid > 1) from the database. This would lead to the "illegal stored
procedure" error from dbaccess.
We began to try this idea out at a place I worked before, but couldn't complete
because the company folded and the client bought thte source code. You can run
the SP, even run UPDATE STATs on it (although I am not sure if the UPDATE STATs
work, having never tried it on a reasonable sized data set, but I think UPDATE
STATs just figures out the STATs from the bytecode), but dbschema wont return
the source, because the underlying tables dont contain the source anymore.

Subject: illegal procedure entry
Hi everyone,
I'm running dbschema -d database_name to get the schema of the
database to load it to another instance. When I run it I get a illegal
procedure entry for some of the stored procedures. The procedures are
there an are able to be ran, but I can not get a schema of them. Any
ideas on why this happens. Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
