Large Database Backups

We have an Informix 7.10 instance running on an NCR platform. The databases in this instance total over 500 GB. We are trying to find a speedy backup and recovery solution. I'm curious as to how others are managing backups of databases this size. Thanks a lot. Barbara bgrant@capita.com
