Informix DBA Opening

A leading communications services provider in the San Francisco Bay Area currently has an opening for an Informix database administrator. Applicants should have 1-3 years of experience building and administering Informix Online and Online DSA (versions 5-7) databases in a UNIX environment. Proficiency in Informix SQL and the Ace Report Writer are required, as is a sound background in database design. Other desirable background would include knowledge of database development tools, especially Informix 4GL, decision support/data warehouse applications, and end user query, reporting, and analysis tools. A background in telecommunications or wireless communications is a plus, but not required. We offer a competitive total compensation package, including medical, dental, and 401(k) plans.
