There are questions about the future of Informix 4GL: i.e. does it have one? There has been no significant new release of 4GL for 3 (three) years (it could do with one). Informix say 4GL has a future most others think it does not. Informix have recently introduced a new language for client/server applications, NewEra. So, 1. Is it possible? Without knowing your system requirements cant say. Very big applications have been written in 4GL. 2. Is it smart?
