Newera 2.20 and BRKCNSCT

Hi, Does anyone use the Break Constructor program with NE 2.20? For anyone not in the know, this was an unsupported executable provided with NE to split up a window painter constructor function which was too large for compilation by the C compiler. The constructor function is the part of the window which creates all the window objects. As this function can be very large, the C compiler may not be able to parse the function and terminates with an out-of-memory error. Anyway, there seems to be a bug in BRKCNSCT, sometimes in splitting the constructor it forgets to include object initialisation lines e.g. the 'itemList = NEW ixVector' line for ixListBoxes. I'm just wondering if this is a version incompatability i.e. it was originally made for versions < 2.2 and is not designed to work with 2.2 WIF files. Is there a new version? Can the original author modify it to correctly parse the 2.2 Newera code? Thanks, -Ciaran -- Ciaran Kelly RTE Donnybrook Dublin 4 Ireland Email: kellyci@rte.ie Voice: +3531 208 3927
