I have the same problem as you have in 4gl version 7.20.UD6. I talked to tech. support of Informix and they told me that this problem would be resolved in the next release of Informix 4GL. They even asked me an example of the program so that they could test it. They promised that this version would be released third quarter of 1999. If I have more news, I will let you know.
