The release notes I am looking at on Sun's site are showing that that
parameter is obsoleted, of course then they define it.
So maybe this web page will give you what you need. I like the System

Does anyone know if shmseg has a limitation on it ? I remember working
on AIX, which had a limit on this, and that shmseg was broken up into
separate chunks. They had a work around for this though, but it wasn't
the default.
