Newbie: Already In Transaction?

Hello All, I have a 4gl that has some transactions (begin work .. commit or rollback). When I run it, I am getting various SQL errors like cannot insert or update or read or whatever. I think the main problem is below: SQL statement error number -535. Already in transaction. ISAM error: deadlock detected The manuals say I must issue a commit work or rollback work. I think the problem happened when my web server blew up on me today and created so many process's that it crashed this 4gl while it was in the middle of a transaction. That is just speculation though. I killed the web server and restarted it and that is fine, but now I cannot get this 4gl to run without erroring out. How do I issue a commit work or rollback work from a 4gl that died long ago? I mean I do not really expect to be able to do that, but how can I deal with this problem. I am also interested in the integrity of the transaction. I am running Online 5.0 on SCO OS5.04. Thanks For Your Help. Olaf
