We haven't been able to define exactly what is happening when the corruption occurs or what is causing the corruption. However, Informix has said that our problem should be fixed when we upgrade to 5.03. We have this planned and will keep our fingers crossed that it will take care of our problem. You might want to talk with tech support about upgrading to 5.03. If you do talk with them you might want to ask them to refrence case # 302295.
