bcheck -s *.idx returns an error

Hi, Using SE/R4GL 6.00 We've got some corruption in the database so I tried "bcheck -s *.idx" in $DBPATH/[dbase name].dbs. I get 'Cannot link .idx to .IDX' errors. Now we have a bunch of .IDX and .idx files. What should I do about them? Why doesn't 'bcheck' link the .idx and .IDX files? Pls. email or post. Thanks! John -- - J -
